I stayed in Nappark Hostel when in Bangkok during my 9 Days Solo Travel in Thailand in 2016.
Location
This hostel is situated in Thanon Thani Road, about 2 alleys from Khao San Road or within 5min walking from that popular road. I got here by a bus from Don Muang Airport, which you can read in my other post, “Travel Info: Transportation to/from Bangkok, Koh Tao, Patong“.
I stayed here for 2 days and this is my impression of the hostel.
The Room
I booked for female dorm (500 bath). It was on the top floor and no elevator. Clean room. All white. I got the top bunk. A bit difficult to get into but you’ll get used to it. Then I also booked the mixed dorm (440 bath) so I could wait in the hotel until the time for the night bus. Mixed dorm is in lower level and I got the bottom bed. The room is as comfy as the female dorm. If I stay here again, I prefer the mixed dorm.
The Bathroom
It is clean with nice paintings on the wall. Hot water runs well. Nothing you can ask more for a shared bathroom.
The Service & Amenities
Staff is great, very welcoming. The common area is nice to hangout with other travelers. AC only works after 6pm. Free wifi works well.
Overall impression
The price is above average. Apart from no AC during the day/before 6pm, the room is comfy so no problem. I would stay here again!
